Yoga & Meditation Classes are held at The Escarpment Retreat, 123 Alpine Terrace Tamborine Mountain.
Please bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion or bolster and a water bottle. Aim to arrive 5 - 10 minutes early to settle in.
It's no problem if you are running late, please come in quietly, take a moment to settle in and join in when you are ready.

Arrive The studio is open for you to arrive 15 minutes before the class begins. Come and relax in the space, and give yourself some time to unwind in the quiet.

Wear Comfortable, loose clothing. Bring a jumper as it can get a little chilly some days and in the evenings.
Bring A yoga mat, water bottle and a cushion or bolster if you need. Blankets are available at the studio.

MONDAY MEDITATION CLASSES
Begin each week with intention and stability. Classes include guided meditation, breath meditation and some mantra and chanting with a savasana / rest at the end and are a therapeutic application of Meditation derived from the Kundalini Yoga & Meditation tradition. In times of great stress and overload Meditation is so important for you to detach from the stresses of the day and find grounded self awareness. You become your own self-therapist and the body and nervous system begins to heal from stress related illnesses.
Each class is available for beginners through to experienced practitioners. You leave feeling deeply rested and re-energised. Classes are safe for pregnancy and postpartum. Teenagers welcome.

FRIDAY KUNDALINI YOGA CLASSES
Classes may be themed for a particular topic or yogic philosophy and include postures, breathwork, mantra and chanting, rest & meditation and are a therapeutic application of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation. We work with breath, somatic movement, sound and ancient yogic techniques to heal the body from prolonged exposure to stress and stress related illnesses, improve vagal tone and to find grounded self awareness.
Each class is available for beginners through to experienced practitioners. You leave feeling deeply rested and re-energised. Classes are safe for pregnancy and postpartum (in fact they're wonderful for pregnant women.)
Teenagers welcome.

Ages 13 - 17
Yoga for Teenagers is awesome for so many reasons. One class a week will help with
